Ever since Erich von Daniken's book "Pathways to the gods: The Stones of Kiribati" I wanted to travel to Bolivia and Peru. I read pretty much everything about Nazca, Tiahuanacu, Cuzco, Puma Punku und Sacsayhuaman I could get my hands on. In Spring 2004 I finally had the time and money to go!

In 2009 my wife and I returned to Peru for another trip. I expanded the Nazca photos with rather rare shots of the Palpa Lines that I did not see in 2004.
